The Hong Kong Trade Development Council's (HKTDC) Hong Kong International Film and Television Market (FILMART) promoted cross-regional exchanges this year, including cooperation between the HKTDC and Thailand, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other regions. Key production houses also leveraged the event’s platform to establish connections with potential partners and customers in overseas markets.

Strong growth in Southeast Asian film-making and virtual production (VP) technologies were key topics for participants at the recent Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) and EntertainmentPulse, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

The entertainment and arts world converges on Hong Kong every March, bringing exciting activities for both visitors and residents, making Hong Kong even more lively and boosting collaboration between different sectors and art forms.

The third edition of EntertainmentPulse will be staged on 11-14 March, concurrently with the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) - the largest cross-media, entertainment content-trading marketplace in Asia.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 28th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre showcases a great variety of cross-media, cross-genre content.

A Hong Kong start-up, which introduced its cutting-edge extended reality (XE) technologies at FILMART earlier this year, will return in the next edition on 11-14 March 2024 to showcase innovative solutions and extend its presence in Mainland China to serve surging demand.
