A mission visiting Cambodia has signed a series of business agreements in a range of areas, including trade and investment promotion, innovation and technology, transport, banking, and industrial development.

A group of business leaders visited Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on 28-30 July as part of a three-nation ASEAN mission organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to enhance trade relations and cultural exchange.

Later this week, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee will lead a business delegation to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, the final stop on a three-nation ASEAN mission.

In June, a globe-spanning delegation, led by HKTDC Executive Director Margaret Fong, met with Zhejiang government and business leaders in Hangzhou to strengthen bilateral cooperation and highlight Hong Kong’s strengths and advantages as a business platform.

London and Hong Kong are both globally renowned technology hubs, with leading universities, strong financial sectors and large, diverse talent pools creating vibrant start-up ecosystems.
