WHAT: The HKTDC Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) is a global marketplace for films, television programmes, and digital content for entertainment. In view of pandemic-related travel restrictions, this year’s event will be held online.
At the event, exhibitors can showcase their products, connect with buyers and industry peers, and take part in webinars and content showcases. Buyers can check out a wide range of entertainment products as well as the latest market trends.

WHY: Buyers come from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, Thailand among other countries and regions. The number of over the top (OTT) direct streaming buyers doubled in 2020. FILMART Online 2020 drew more than 7,000 participants from 73 countries and regions and featured 2,100 titles of all genres. Participants attended more than 2,000 real-time meetings, 22 webinars and content showcases and 35,000 views.
